I'm perfectly fine with shooting someone who is breaking in. But that's a whole different thing than raping them after they've been subdued. :mad:

Exactly. The law (typically) allows one to defend one's self and others if threatened. It does, however, limit it to defense, and one is not allowed to inflict punishment.

Shorty.....Joanna can back me up, but I believe a L&O: SVU episode was about male rape. It showed how the detectives were spilt on whether or not to believe the guy. It was actually kind of sad, I thought, because here is this guy, pooring his heart out, claiming he was raped, and the one detective was practically laughing about it. And I am sure that's how it works in the real world, too, not just on TV.
