I had a guest SIT in a drinking fountain once. SIT in the fountain basin where the water drains. He ran the water to cool off. I told him to get down so others could get a drink. His fat obese thigh rubbed against the mouth piece that the water comes out of.

In the Blastzone and Coke Soak fountain areas, people were allowed to frolic around as long as they wore shoes and were moderately covered.
I saw many but NAKED kids, bare chested toddler girls, bare chested chubby pre-teen boys with man boobs, and bare chested hairy fat men that were their with no kids.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Naked kids is a problem at Ariel's Grotto. Another problem is that kids will climb the fountains/statues, and it is the character attendant's job to get them dressed/off the statues. It's sad that we can't have any nice decorations because of the fear people will climb them.

I will be your guide for this magical journey into the movies. It's the perfect job for me, because I love movies! Is everybody ready? Great, because it's showtime. Ready when you are, CB!

Since when does any signage around the parks seem to do a lick of good?

When does signage ANYWHERE do any good?

Besides the erroneous inference that somehow wearing a swimsuit or shorts will reduce contamination, I often wonder what the stats are regarding pedophile numbers (the other reason kids shouldn't really run around in public naked - ok, "prudishness" is another reason but I refuse to acknowledge it). Are there REALLY that many pedophiles out there that a pre-pubescent girl can't run around topless? (When visiting Europe you'll see that girls often go swimming without a top - even up to the age where they would generally be considered "women"). In other countries such as in Europe and South America, jumping in a fountain to cool off is considered absolutely normal. The fountains at Disney really need more (nicely designed) visually-based signs indicating that the water is not for bathing in.

I think part of the problem is that if you sexualize something (i.e. by insisting you cover it up) a part of the human psyche picks up on it.

If you've ever checked out the Megan's Law website, you'll find that it has a quote from a pedophile stating that if you're in a place of temptation, it's gonna overwhelm you. Most of the pedophiles go for kids under 14. And pedophiles go where temptation is rampant. That means theme parks, beaches, parks, schools, playgrounds, etc.. They can sit and pretend to people watch, but in reality they're engaging in mental sex with the kids. And seeing kids with little or no clothing on in the summer anywhere, flocking in the water, is the icing on the cake for them. Better safe than sorry.
