Hahaha, yeah that would go over well! :p:

Maybe Disney should hand out small bottles of Fabreeze at the gate!

Over all my years I've dealt with some amazing shit both as a worker and guest at theme parks, but I can still say that the "Perfunk Chick, Poor Daughter and Swine Flu Husband" are one of my favorites.

My poor husband was so worried this dude was going to take a shot at me because he was so worked up, plus doing that whole male "posturing" thing. We've both seen guests and workers alike have fists flown at them for the oddest and dumbest reasons. He was more worried I'd get hurt then anything else and I can say if this SG was dumb enough to swing at a woman in front of security I'm sure my husband would have been forgiven either way. I can happily report that afterwards my husband and I sat outside CoP in Tomorrowland with a turkey leg, watching the fireworks and laughing this Swine Flu SG's antics.

It never fails to amaze me how while on vacation some people get so very mad about any tiny thing. Perhaps that's just cause I've worked in Customer Service and Parks over half my working career, but really. Your on vacation, no matter how much money you spend.. you may as well have a good time damnit!

when all I'm trying to do is HELP them-WTH?????? All I can figure is that it is displaced anger and I feel truly sorry for the people who have to live with them

People are crazy these days. You never know who is going to have a gun or some other weapon hidden on their person. It could have been a lot worse.

I know there is a security check at the gate, but the last time I was at Disney World (2007) all they did was check your bags if you had any. They could install those millimeter wave scanners that the TSA uses, but that is probably overkill.

It's sad to even have to think about that. "insert comment about things used to be better when I was younger here" :p:

I remember many a time walking around Disney World and smelling other people's funk, even early in the morning.
Failure to comply would require a "perfunk"tory exit, then? :p:

I would refuse to go through them, just like I do at the airport.
