mapo, no long stories needed. Ernie would be pleased to meet you & might give you hug if appropriate - however - you would get a huge smile. :)mapo wrote: And MS when I visit, no salutes from Ernie for me. The snipers might think I am someone important. *long story I'll tell you one day* and No, I am not military and never was....

Re: Ktulu goes to Disneyland
We got back in last night. No major SG stories, and I managed to avoid being one!
The worst was the people getting into the fastpass lines, on Space Mountain a group of teenagers were talking about doing it, so they got in line behind us. They were asking each other if they would get sent back if they didn't have the FP. I said, yep, they will! So they turned around and hopefully no one let them back in line :)
On BTMRR I saw a dad and his son do the walk of shame back down the FP queue.
Leave PP Hotel and there was a guy getting the walk of shame with security around him yelling "F'ing Disney is such a rip off!" My wife and brother saw the guy, heard the same, so my bro yelled out "I love Disneyland!" According to their report, their friends looked really embarrassed.
We met up with Lady Ulrike, little LU, and their friend. We watched World of Color, then hoofed it to DL for Fantasmic (first time for me to see both of those, and they were amazing!), and then the last ride of the night was on Pirates. We were informed by the CM at the greeter position that there were squirrels ahead. I had a good laugh out of that. One AWESOME thing to note on that trip on Pirates, there was NO flash photography. In fact out of the 3 (yes, only 3) trips, there was minimal flash, and none of it was as annoying as I've encountered in the past. Lady Ulrike was awesome as usual, if you make it out there you at least have to say hi to her.
I also got to meet Ernie at Flag Retreat. He is a really great guy and needs our continued support. I'll be posting the video and pictures from Flag Retreat up on the FB page I created.
Anyway, it was a great trip. We're ready to go back already!

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Hahaha, just to clarify for the drive-by Disney haters, Security was actually smiling and just walking with the guy, until he tried to enter the hotel and they told him no.hobie16 wrote:Security was yelling what?!?!![]()

Ernie is still talking, raving abt how brilliant you are. Even called @ 4 a m to remind me. "Yes, I know, but I need sleep." :) I told him you were very cool, but he has to be convinced.ktulu wrote:We got back in last night.
