Got no bed bugs 2528 Miles, 4069 KM, 2197 Nautical Miles West-Southwest of DLR. We do, however, have centipedes. Really big centipedes. My wife likes to shoot them with Raid and watch them do the zamboogie.Goofyernmost wrote:If you don't mind please keep those critters 2528 Miles, 4069 KM, 2197 Nautical Miles West-Southwest of DLR.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: Great, another guest infiltrator
In all seriousness, I used to own a nursing home. A new resident came in and brought Bed Bugs with him. By the time we realized it they were everywhere. I had to have the building tented and fogged. All the clothes, bedding, towels, etc. had to be washed in bleach, the mattresses and box springs, carpets, cloth covered furniture, everything that they could hide in had to be taken away and destroyed and replaced with new stuff.
It was very costly and insurance didn't cover it. I didn't think to add a Bed Bug clause to my insurance.

Maybe not now, but all it takes is one traveler with them in their baggage and Aloha Bed Bugs. Tiny Bed Bugs in the case...you can't kill them, even with mace. La, La, La, La. My apologies to Don Ho. :crawly: :crawly:hobie16 wrote:Got no bed bugs 2528 Miles, 4069 KM, 2197 Nautical Miles West-Southwest of DLR. We do, however, have centipedes. Really big centipedes. [font="Comic Sans MS"]Yes, I've stayed there may times and absolutely love it. Unfortunately, and even though I have a little other income, with that and a WDW salary, there isn't any way I could swing the rate. I wonder if Fr. Wilderness has any guidelines about how long a camper can stay on a site at one visit?fugarwe wrote:HappyCamper, have you stayed at Fort Wilderness before? You won't be making much money if you are living there and working, but I'm not really into this idea to make money. If I could cover my living expenses and have a bit of fun, that's what it's all about.
Anyway, the Fort is my favorite resort and then Port Orleans - Riverside is second. Don't know that I could stay at either anymore because of memories.
My goal is to stay about 7 months in a rental unit to see if I like WDW employment and Orlando area. If so, I want Celebration !! LOL If not, I think that I'll move on to a cooler summer climate. No telling. LOL
What else do you have planned?

Are they regular centipedes or house centipedes? We have both up here and I found out (not happily) that regular centipedes not only bite (extremely painfully and burningly) , but may require a tetanus shot.hobie16 wrote:Got no bed bugs 2528 Miles, 4069 KM, 2197 Nautical Miles West-Southwest of DLR. Hm, is burningly even a real word?

It functions as one, so why sweat the details? :D:Sioban wrote: Hm, is burningly even a real word?

I think they're regular centipedes that come in the house. I've only been bit once. It burned for about 24 hours and hurt like hell. If it lasts longer than that you're suppose to go see a doc. The one that bit me? He discovered what a Raid shower was. :twisted:Sioban wrote:Are they regular centipedes or house centipedes?
