How does she survive Christmas shopping? I got more accidental contact at Walmart than a TSA scan does on purpose!
Seriously, though, would Donald's friend even know they were touching breast? It doesn't look like they could see all that well out of the costume, or even feel anything detailed...I mean...more than "Okay, I'm touching something solidish."
If she was groped, did she complain that day? Or even that week? Why wait so long to file a complaint? If I thought I were intentionally groped by someone, I'd have said something THEN, not a year or so later.
I feel for Donald's friend. He/She probably has no memory of this occasion and now has to account for something they have no idea they did.

This got me thinking. If she waited so long, can she even be sure which of Donald's friends did it? I mean people's sense of time is skewed. ("I've been waiting in line for over an hour!" )
In my real life job, we'll get a complaint of a car stolen out of a parking garage. "What time did you arrive?" "I was there at exactly 9:45 because I had an exam and couldn't be late." So when I pull video, I start at 9:15 and go through 10:45 to get a start time. Usually, they're idea of time is way off and this is when we're dealing with same day situations.
Two years?

DELG8TOR, I am sorry that the Marsupial Welcoming Committee did not get to you first. Drinks are okay, but to get loaded up with rum and beer right before being set on fire... I would like to personally apologize. As you can see, we are... an interesting... group. But they're all ours, and we'll keep 'em.
So, on behalf of the Marsupial Welcoming Committee, :sgthello:
Hey, Wombat. Would you call Bombardier? We need more Monorails Coral. We are starting to get a little low. Also, call Central Shops and have them put our paint scheme on it.

Welcome, DELG8TOR. My statement regarding lesbians and the woman's case smelling fishy were to be taken separately. I am friends with some women with female partners, and I don't believe I have smelled anything other than a pleasantly fresh aroma from them. :cat1:
In a more serious note: I could see where someone might claim additional trauma from be grouped by someone of the same sex when they are heterosexual. I'm not sure if such a claim would be taken seriously, but I can see it being made.

I'll see what I can do. Also, for special circumstances I can order up a new paint scheme.

I will do some thinking about the special circumstances.
Perhaps we should get a Dream welcome... and a Lincoln Town Car, and a DMC bus... we could have fun with this!

I was friends with Donald when I worked there. There is no peripheral vision. The gloves are fairly padded. What can happen, is that the Duck (and remember, Ducks don't have peripheral vision) gets an idea of where everybody is. The duck goes put his arm around somebody's shoulder. People move around but the duck is unaware that people have moved and the duck accidentally grazes a chest.
The long and the short of it as that most of the time what guests claim is physically impossible. Whenever friends of Donald or Mickey get complaints, the captains will normally (discreetly) let the guest know the friend is female and that normally stops any complaint in its tracks.
Honestly, nonsense like this makes me question wanting to go back to do entertainment. I am also a teacher and could not afford to be accused of something like this by a guest.

I hope that you have liability insurance as a teacher. When I was in education, I had a personal liability insurance policy for up to a million dollars. That was a while ago. If I was in education now, I would try for a ceiling of $10 million.
If you have said insurance, check to see its limitations. You may be able to purchase a separate extension for your entertainment activities.
Also, if you are not sure if you have insurance and have a collective bargaining agreement (in your teaching position), check with your union types. You may have insurance and not be aware.
Donald will be covered by Disney Legal for actions related to work product. Donald would be listed as an agent for Disney Corp in that instance. If the SG goes after Donald personally, that could be a different matter. Again, check with the union types for better explanation. Of course, I would check with Disney legal/EAP.
Anyone wonder why CMs are told to never touch a guest?? CAUSE PEOPLE SUCK!!!! :nyah:

I do belong to the NEA and have insurance through them. I'm actually considering leaving my current position partly because of a student who has made accusations (easily proven false) against the teachers at summer school and one of the therapists. We found out this particular student's parents have a history of suing schools despite the fact their kid is a documented pathological liar and they have yet to win one.
