Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it is real and in fact, it likely is. We have one on the Storybook dock and on the Casey dock. Any other places I know of with water it isn't deep enough to need one and they're both in pretty plain sight if you look, so yeah, I bet it is real.

I'm pretty certain that all life preservers near waterways at Disney are real. They are put there for safety's sake. Part of the safety E-Learnings I've had to take includes the proper use of life preservers even though I don't work anywhere where there are life preservers. I believe all CMs have to take that course.

Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious…
and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.

See, it's a head bonker.

For those SGs that know how to swim right?

Not only that, it's likely that they're required to be there per OSHA.

There should be two models. A lighter one to bonk the non-swimmers and one filled with cement to pull the swimmers under.

It could be even worst. Be on Churros 6 and the SG trying to balance on the railings during Fantasmic. The best is when security tells the SG to get out of the planters and trees.
