Wait a minute, I know I'm pop culturally challenged at times, but when did vampires start eating milk and cookies? I feel somehow disgusted by this new turn of events.

My "Vampire the Masquerade" LARP troupe absolutely hates the Twilight books and the softening of the Vampiric condition within those pages. You don't mention Twilight in character... someone might need a frenzy check.

Team Dresden checking in, here... Thomas Raith can beat Edward's sparkly backside any day, and twice on Sundays.

And from a completely different take on things: I'm team Kresley Cole & JR Ward (authors who incorporate vampires into their series). I have to say....my vampires can rip Edward's throat out in less than a heartbeat (pun intended). Although.....I wouldn't mind getting up close and personal with Jacob.....
