I think that only works if a relative has already been taken, not that you can offer one in exchange.

I wonder if reflective sunglasses would work as well....

Oh, we did not stay quiet! I have also suffered through multiple major sunburns and sun poisoning, I could hardly breathe trying to imagine an infant in that sort of pain. We called 911, we asked a Cast Member nearby to call for help, we offered to buy her lunch if she would just bring the baby indoors... I do not know the outcome, she was not receptive and we chose not to follow her, but we did not stay quiet.

That's the kind my DH buys. He uses it like the father from "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" used Windex - on EVERY kind of hurt. He's gotten the kids to buy into it as well. Great for sunburn, but I prefer neosporen on cuts.

Kifaru, I am so glad you didn't stay quiet!!! I do hope the infant was alright. I watch my Quinn (the two eyar old) VERY carefully....like I said, I know how bad it hurts and when you can't say how bad it hurts, it's worse.

GaTechGal - I prefer neosporen for cuts as well.....colored aloe only for sunburn.

I once saw a mother exiting Peter Pan while nursing a very new looking new born. I totally support her right to breast feed but it's a moving walkway, what if she fell? :(

Wow.....A newborn in a Blizzard Beach. I wonder how he/she like summit plummet. A diaper atomic wedgie must have been tough on the baby.

Seriously, what idiots. I don't know if I could have kept quiet. The sunburn on on a newborn would horrible. What about things in the water? A baby's immune system would not hold up well to some of the things that could be in the water. While I am sure they have a great filtration system I would question the weakness of the immune system of a newborn.

We have not had a newborn in 20 years. We have had a puppy and the pupply could not go out in public for a month, LOL. 20 years ago that rule was in place for newborns as well. I have to admit we did take our youngest who was 3 months old to the parks for 3 days. We were down visiting my Grandparents near Sarasota and snuck a few days at the parks. I remember putting sunscreen, hats, light blankets etc. to protect him from the sun. He survived....LOL
