No. You cannot buy more dining coupons. The number is tied to the number of guests times the number of nights booked.

I've been trying to find the Official Policy on this, but no luck. Like most Disney policies, it likely depends on what manager is on duty. It's like we used to say on Main Street:

"Four managers, five policies."

Saw that in action working PAC.

Had popcorn corner in the hub.

One coordinator came down put tape down and advised me to clear out the walkways (please continue moving, this is not a viewing area, must be on this side of the tape, etc). Not kidding, as I got to the end of the walkway by Tomorrowland, here comes a different coordinator pulling up tape and wanting to know who put it down. I advised Coordinator X did and that I was supposed to clear the area. She said, nope we don't do that here. So I got the dirty looks and comments from those I just moved. The area got crowded, congested and a mess. As I was admitting defeat and giving up on moving people, the manager walked by and commented to the PAC with me what a great job we were doing and everything looked great.

Luckily there were a handful of families that made that night a joy to work and kept making sure I had my patented Disney smile on.

Parties of 33 should consider dividing their parties into two groups of 16 and a half each.

I don't know how all of you survive. I seriously think you should get hazard pay, especially the human "velvet rope" with blue flashlights, which drowns in SG sweat on Main. Image

Now I think I've heard everything people can think of to cheat the system!!

Yes, it's cheating - and more importantly, it's stealing. 2 adults and a child make a reservation for 3 adults and a child. The room rate is only increased by about $75 for a week trip in a moderate resort. They now pay the added expense of the ticket for the shadow child. The DDP is free. As in, WDW includes it for them, while I have to pay for it when I go (I refuse to pull my children out of school for WDW, so we usually go during peak times).
If I understand correctly, the ticket issued to the shadow child can be used another time. So, the parents of the imaginary child are out very little ($75), and they get the added benefit of getting to eat at more expensive, select restaurants (why else would anyone want more dining points?).
It's stealing by deception.

"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."
