If you reread my first post,I did indeed read the article. As you said, money shouldn't hold you back, but when your busy living life, time can be a hinderence. I've married twice, have three kids (all adults now) 'Used' to work nights, (been unemployed for 10 monthts now, kinda tough to meet your obligations on $237.00 a week) My semi-invalid mother has lived with us since mid-Dec and have been taking care of her,so trying to find any time for myself is a bear. I finally got a day to myself for the first time in 4 months last Mon,went fishin. :)
I'm trully happy for you to be able to pursue your avation hobby,I really am. I know it doesn't come across right in 'typed' format
OKAY,back to our regularly scheduled program.

Dude, that may be the first time I've seen you serious in a post. Wish I could help you on the job front, no connections in your area though.

Tucson, the Old Pueblo. We refer to Phoenix as 'The Center of the Universe'.

Too far away. I've got a brother-in-law in Phoenix who's always looking for good people.

fcsflyboy, I can give you a serious answer to your thread. While not an aircraft owner, and not technically a pilot (ran out of the green stuff when I was about to solo), I am a member of AOPA, and I did support the EAA at Starks Twin Oaks Air Park in Hillsoboro, Oregon when I lived there. One of my flight instructors had over 30,000 hours when he took me up for spin training... his price was that I pay for the plane and buy him some pizza and beer. A more than fair price, if you ask me.

I do miss 7S3, I love that place... if you get a chance, the EAA there holds a pancake breakfast, I want to say the third Saturday of every month. Afterward, take a scenic flight around Mount Saint Helens. It is absolutely gorgeous!

I read your article and greatly enjoyed it. I am a dreamer, always was and always will be. I don't have the time right now to hang around airports (though I fully LOVE doing it when I can... I'll sit around the FBO and just listen to stories and learn), I do intend to take to the skies once again someday soon. I love working on and around the Monorail because as I climb out of the Magic Kingdom from Pylon 91 to 99, I can for a moment imagine that you are in a C152 and climbing out of McMinnville Airport.

My greatest dream of flight? To work with Angel Flights and other similar networks.

fcsflyboy,

to this corner of the internet we call SGT. Understand our humor, that we are a strange bunch. But we certainly love to dream!

You know what's odd? How much SGT regulars seem to have in common with each other (besides Disney, of course)... There are so many of us here with backgrounds or interest in computer science, aviation, theater, and who seem to enjoy the same obscure pop culture references.
