Oh, I was not blaming your actions at all....and we had repeatedly moved them back, but you know, that's what kids do. Although, kids also learn with the right influence, I don't think we had to move them again after that.

Oh, I know you weren't blaming my actions, I was just admitting to the world that even one of my kids were capable of pulling some SGT's :)

And yes, lesson learned, for now...

Getting back to the SG momzilla with the daughter who "needed" an ECV but wasn't quite old enough--were crutches not good enough for her? I've seen people go around on cruthes for quite a ways, and with all the benches in the park to sit down on to rest, but I guess some people think they're too good for crutches.

The real question here is why the hell can't she use a normal bloody wheelchair?

There's always a wheel-chair. Oh wait, that would preclude them pushing around their little darling. Or actually doing some work for herself.

Alright, just wanted to make sure. :)

But see, many SGTs that kids do are not really SGTs because they are kids. The SGT comes into effect by the parents reaction.

I just recently started developing a foot problem...nearly 4 months before our next trip. My husband and eldest son suggested an ECV if I need it, but I'm terrified of turning into some scary SG on wheels....by accident! My eldest son said he'd push me in a wheelchair, but I think that'll get old VERY quickly for a 15 year old, lol.

Honestly...hoping the stupid foot thing will clear up before then so I don't have to worry about this...but it's been bugging me the last few weeks thinking about not being completely mobile. My 14 year old got a rude awakening when he made a reference to getting "on the rides faster" if I need assistance. I made sure to COMPLETELY make sure he realized that wouldn't happen. I told him I can stand in line just fine...the walking may be the problem. Trying to make sure my kids don't turn into future SG's! :o:

If you are going to rent one when you get there, and are worried about using it, find out which model they have and then try and find a rental near where you live and rent one for a few days to get the hang of it!

We thought about getting MIL an ECV when we take her to the parks because she has COPD and can't walk a good deal, but we realized that she's a crappy driver and would probably end up breaking multiple ankles and bruising people's legs... then I'd have to read about her on this site! :D:

I'd rather push her....

Having been on crutches for a few days last month, long enough to remind me that I hate the damn things, I'd have settled for the wheelchair.
