However, my statement still holds true as many times on the bus going to Typhoon Lagoon, guests were bitching about rain. Huh! you are GOING to a WATER PARK, It's raining, SO WHAT!
We were at Blizzard Beach with the girlies one day, and it was sprinkling just a wee bit. It was warm, though, so the sprinkles were nice. :) However, the idiots in the line were just standing there under the umbrella until the group under the next umbrella would vacate (so they could have the space). Yes, I did make very loud comments about the sanity of people who are in line for a water slide but are scared of getting wet.

Forgive my Canadian education, but I thought the Continental Divide passed through the Rocky mountains, somewhat west of the Mississippi?

I'm sure I took a photo from a lookout spot in Rocky Mountain National Park, of a sign marking the Divide.

Wanna hear another little old lady on her first plane trip anecdote? I have this book of old Reader's Digest humor, which is where this is from. This was in the days of early passenger flights, after World War II, and this little old lady asks the flight attendant where the restroom is. After being shown, she goes inside, and a minute later pops her head out of the door to inquire, "Young lady, do you happen to have a couple of safety pins?" She's given the pins, and the flight attendant wonders what she needs them for. A few minutes later, the old lady exits the restroom, and the flight attendant peeks into the restroom, and discovers that the curtains on the window in the restroom have been pinned closed! Like someone was going to look in at 30,000 feet! ROFL!

You're probably right. It was a story from many, many years ago.

Classic. That's awesome. :D:
I hope one of the channels was ESPN 8, 'The Ocho' -- "Bringing you the finest in seldom-seen sports from around the globe since 1999." :D:

February asked me to guess what the answer was to the tinkerbell qestion andi immediately said it was her cable TV wire, so I was close LOL.
While I don't have any SG questions I can say one of my favorites was a question I got from a contractor. I do all my work for my company on a contract to maintain facilities for the big phone company. The one with the big blue and white globe... you all know who i'm talking about right?
Well suffice it to say, I had issued design drawings for a project at one of the phone company's buildings. One of the things on the drawings was a piece of equipment that required an internet connection, and hence a telephone line to connect to the internet.
I get an RFI (Request for information) from the contractor installing this equipment asking "Who provides the telephone line for the modem?"
After picking my jaw up off the floor, 3 weeks later, I finally replied simply. "The telephone company." Though I had been tempted to put down the name of one of their competators.

This is a reference to people going to the water park and being afraid of getting a few drops of Rain on them......
We were rafting down the Truckee River and even though I had bought some pretty cool water pump guns (they suck up water and shoot it) Hubby didn't want us to shoot anyone with them UNLESS they shot us first

Unlike the previous year, there was very little call to defend ourselves, so, I turned evil and told the kids to "shoot" at the ducks who were swimming in the lazy river.
Now, before PETA comes after me, please know that the ducks were far away from us, we were shooting at them but not even getting near them, and even if it had hit them, IT WAS A FEW DROPS OF WATER. So, we were merrily calling out Duck, and Shooting, when some Yuppie yells from 50 yards behind us, "You are a TERRIBLE mother! You are a BAD EXAMPLE to your children!"

Apparently he was upset because he was trying to feed the ducks BBQ Potato Chips (we had seen him doing it earlier) and we were SCARING the ducks. Didn't stop the critters from flocking to him immediately after we shot at them (probably have a 30-second memory span). Of course, being hand fed Potato Chips by Tourists is Natural Behavior
