Welcome to SGT Patchy. :) You will soon learn to ignore me.

Don't listen to her. Don't ignore Main Streeter, she's full of information, some good, some bad and when she's right she is RIGHT!

What would you do without me? Well, you wouldn't be able to vent to me like one can only to another CM nor I vent to you.

I thought it over, talked it over and scrambled my budget and said yes-hoping that I wouldn't have to be PT for long. So, I called him back and accepted. The next day he called and told me a FT slot had opened and I accepted.

I don't know what L.O.B. means...but I'm working attractions at typhoon lagoon.
LOB is Line Of Business, such as Attractions, Merchandise, Photopass, Custodial, etc.

Congrats on starting FT. I had to wait a month before going FT after I started. Normally not a big deal except when it comes to things where seniority matters, like schedule bids. Then as my seniority date is a month after I started people who started after me as FT but before I went FT get first pick.

Thanks! I think it's going to take a while to learn the language!

Oh hell..there are managers and stripes that do not know the language. Oh and do not get me started on Guest Relations. *THEY* have there own little bubble they live in...nothing like trying to communicate in a crisis only to have to go to Guest Relations-speak which takes like 5 times longer! ARGH

Congrats on the role..now try not to be too perky backstage...the residents will eat you for lunch at Typhoon. LOL And no playing with the sharks please. Everyone should go home with the correct number of fingers please.

So welcome to the family...

Whazzup wrote:Oh No, dear PatchOBlack, did you not get an official welcome from the Marsupials? They do not discriminate and if they have been remiss, I'm sure at least one of them will be along to welcome you with banners and signs and purple things.
Sorry for being remiss! We try not to miss anyone, much less remiss them!! (Hey, if we do this again, will we be re-remiss???)

Patchy,
:welcome: to :sgt: from :wallaby: and :wombat: !!! :D: :D: :D:

Welcome to TL. I am temporarily at DHS, but my regular position is Guest Services at TL (on Wednesdays and Thursdays) and I will be back starting the week of March 21. And the gate positions are also considered attractions.

At the water parks we do not have "Guest Relations", instead we have "Guest Services".

Unlike the Theme Parks which have three front teams, Guest Relations, Vacation Planners and Turnstile Greeters each water park has a Front Gate team which includes the turnstile greeters, ticket sales and Guest Services.

In Guest Services we cannot make dining reservations for Guests and we cannot access a Guest Resort Reservation, but we do handle Guest Recovery.
