Again, this gets tricky as a tail is certainly not everyday attire for MOST, but if it's everyday attire for YOU, then I can see if being the same as some of the outfits you see on Bats Days.

Good luck on your lifestyle choice.

I figured that this would be a big unknown and I would get conflicting answers so I not only asked here, but I also sent an email using the online form.
Are there restrictions on types of clothing or makeup that Guests may wear, or tattoos that can be displayed, while visiting the Disneyland® Resort?
Yes. The goal of the Disneyland® Resort is to provide a safe, secure environment for our Guests to enjoy. Clothing, makeup and tattoos that may distract from the Disneyland® Resort experience or that may pose a safety or health issue are not permitted:
* Clothing or tattoos with obscene, lewd or offensive language, graphics or designs
* Clothing that could be construed as indecent, exposing excessive portions of skin that may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment (e.g., string bikini tops and bottoms, G-strings, clothing that accentuates or draws attention to private areas)
* Bare feet
* Weapons or accessories that appear to be weapons (i.e., bullet belts)
* Sharp or pointed accessories that may cause injury
* Masks or makeup that could be construed as part of a costume
None of these are going to be issues because a tail doesn't fit into any of them.
* Clothing or accessories that drag on the ground and create a potential tripping hazard
This could potentially be a problem, but I don't want it to drag on the ground and it will be in close to my body so it won't be a tripping hazard.
* Costumes on Guests over the age of 9 (e.g., Halloween costumes — with the exception of special events — wedding dresses, period costumes)
This is the one that could cause issues. There are some people that might view just a tail as a costume, even if it isn't for the person wearing it.
* Exception: Attire intended to identify those wearing it is acceptable (e.g., military uniforms, cultural attire)
A tail could fit into this category as it is something I (will after it's made)wear everyday.
In any case, I will wait for a response from the email I sent.

just take a tip from one of the old gallagher bits,
when you wear it to the parks, just tape it to one of your legs in several places, that way its not a tripping hazzard, and you can ride the attractions without the worry if getting it caught/mangled by an attraction (and thus being a bit more safe!)

So, everyday attire is Mouse Ears, Character Hands, and wearing tons of shiny Pins? Wait, I've done the pin part...... ;)

I'm thinking that by the next time I go to the parks I will have had a lot of practice climbing into and out of vehicles without accidentally slamming it in the door.

On Halloween night, I was driving down Katella and saw this couple. The guy was dressed as a mind and the lady was dressed as the HM bride. She had a red light flashing back and forth in her dress. It was cool. I don't know if they got in or not. :)

Mapo, I'm curios... since you seem to have a black and white answer for everything, where do you draw the line between what is and isn't a 'costume' item? For instance, what about a person who regularly wears a dog collar, or skirts with petticoats, or an archer's hat? Are Goths automatically considered to be in costume?
