Bru, you hit it right on the nailhead when you made this statement:

Hopefully something they saw in my rare situation will help them with another patient in the future, I hope.

Just think of what all the doctors have learned from your unusual case, and how much that experience will allow them to help other patients. Just by being yourself, you have made a major contribution to future patient care. Congratulations! :grouphug:

Glad you're doing better Bru.
How come you didn't include any 'RealTree'?

hmmm I don't know what that is so I googled 'realtree' and I got camo...

I could paint a knock-off impressionist (as is my style you know) version of camo for you, Darph. Really I could.

if you want after NaNoWriMo is over, I shall try.

My word count on day three: 14,151. That has to be a new record. I know that the 10,425 I did in the first 23.5 hours is a personal best.

and it actually makes as much sense as anything I write ever does.

Gracious, I am loving my eye doctors more by the day...and in fact right at this moment I am so overwhelmed with gratitude that I find I'm crying into my cup of coffee cause guys, I can SEE. Every once in awhile, especially like now as I'm wearing my new +8 contacts and also the +freaking huge progressive bifocals (got to love the 'intermediate zone!) it really hits me, the reality of it.

They didn't think they could fix it but they did and I can SEE *sob*. I can read, I can write, I can paint. I can see my daughter kicking ass as she does her first Young Writer's Challenge (by choice, she signed up all on her own) and is at 2864 words so far. Rock on, little writer chick. rock ON.) Man, I love my kid she is so cool.

Her email signature is "Love, Peace, and Walt Disney World..."

love ya'll.

After reading your latest post a Beatles song came to mind:

Getting Better

It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school
The teachers
who taught me weren't cool
You're holding me down, turning me round
Filling me up with your rules.
I've got to admit it's getting better
A little better all the time
I have to admit it's getting better
It's getting better since you've been mine.
Me used to be a angry young man
Me hiding me head in the sand
You gave me the word
I finally heard
I'm doing the best that I can.
I've got to admit it's getting better
A little better all the time
Yes I admit it's getting better

That too but the visual is Joe Cocker on stage playing air guitar or having some kind of attack. :D:

*nearly spits coffee at the screen laughing*

Oh man, that dude does have stage related issues doesn't he? Some people it's just painful to watch perform...some pianists really get me too. I know it's all about art and music but...

Now on the other hand, I love to watch Chris Martin from Coldplay dance. Especially when they perform Viva La Vida. He just looks so happy- it makes you happy to watch him and if anything makes me want to dance it's some good Coldplay...

New NaNoWriMo 09 novel word count: 16,737 (and stalled. must have more coffee)

It's only day four and I've already given up on matching socks. The fact I am still aware that I have feet pleases me at this point.

Just LOVE the rose painting Bru. Makes me think of my Grandmother's house. She used to grow those wonderful Old Fashioned roses that were huge and smelled so wonderful. Thanks for the memory.

And I love your description of seeing Main Street and the Castle. THAT'S a picture I'd really like to see you paint.

Hugs.
