suprise suprise, a lot of them were not selling to the people that needed "medical help" but were making thousands in profit (which, by the way, is not allowed under the medical marijuana dispensary regulations)

First off it is not a minority that voice their support to legalize marijuana. Making pot legal would be the best thing for this country. And yet alcohol IS legal. In case you over looked the key word in your statement, abuse. Tylenol is legal too, but abuse it and you will regret it. All things in moderation.

I haven't got a horse in this race, but just saying "It's called real life" isn't much in the way of providing the reasoning for your argument. It's like saying "It's true because it's true." Would you mind elaborating on the things you saw or heard that convinced you of this, so that I may evaluate for myself if I will or will not believe that it is true?

Rather than quote and start a back and forth with no real end, the fact reamins that the majority do not wish it legalized.

the arguments for the legalization from the those that want it legalized is an emotional one, as they are the ones that wish to use it for such medical purposes as "stress" "emotional crisis" and other dubious medical "necessity"

The sad part is that those that COULD benifit from the medical use (if there is any benifit, other than psychological from getting high) are being drowned out by the vocal minority that want it legalized.

Its funny, but this web site talks about "SG's" and indeed even this thread was started about two SG's lighting up on an attraction.

can you imagine what kind of SG's will result if they did legalize it? I don't think I would like walking around with my family in an amuzement park with people flaming on whenever they get the urge.

it is illegal, it will remain that way, those that choose to break the law, will pay the price. Be it loss of job, involved in an accident, or addiction that ruins their life and causes them to lose loved ones over an insignificant drug.

that is called real life.

Again I say All things in moderation. It is been proven medically that a glass of beer, wine, or other alcohol a day is good for the body. It has also been proven medically that pot helps with some medical problems. You can close your eyes to it all you want. but there have never been any negative effects of smoking pot. In fact the only negative actions from pot are from the fact that it is not legal. Think of all the crime that would end if pot were made legal.

Actually there would be less problems with guest. Pot makes a person mellow and calm. Imagine the reduction in irate guest in the park if they were all calm and mellow.

Lets break down the scenarios you listed.

Be it loss of job: The boss really don't care if the person smokes pot, they just know that *IF* the person gets caught and the boss knew about it then the boss gets fired too.

involved in an accident: there has NEVER, and I mean NEVER been an accident as the result of smoking pot. Bot does not impair your brain the way alcohol and other drugs do.

addiction that ruins their life: Pot is less addictive then cigarettes.

causes them to lose loved ones: the "loved one" as you call it, is really just someone that has blinders on to the real world, they most likely they are living in rainbow and lollipop land. I can tell you 100% that if the person was ONLY using pot then they were causing no hard to the "loved one"





But as you said, there is no real end to this, you will continue to live life with your eyes closed. I am glad that you do not support the legalizing of pot. that means when it is legal there will be one less person taking the good stuff and more for the rest of us.
