Yeah. Its crazy when people act like that!

jeez, people, its vacation, not an exercise in perfection.
Exactly! People should just have a good time and not stress about having the perfect schedule!

they don't realize how compilcated she is. do you know how long it will take to program her entire routine? lots of hours and then testing her. and she is too big to keep "dragon" back into the lab, so they have to drag out a portable programing station to her. way more than they can do in just a few programing sessions. and they can only do this when the part is empty, guests are not invited to cast rehersals... lol. she is not like other AAs either. she has to perform on cue, not like most other AAs who just run thier routines in a loop. and dragons are slow learners too...

I once saw someone program a bullwinlke moose to sing 2 songs. and it aint that easy.

I remember back in the 80s when they had all these AA figures at Chuck E. Cheese's, and an article on how they are programmed pointed out that it took them 12 hours just to program the singing hippo to open and close her eyes and move her head. But I'm sure we all know how primative those were back then. I can only imagine how long it took to program the AA figures for the old "Rocket to the Moon", later "Mission to Mars" attractions, as well as the old "Carousel of Progress."

I gotta say. I'm kind of looking forward to when Fantasmic goes on break.

Now don't get me wrong, I love Fantasmic and all of the recent enhancements were great, but I agree with darph; its nice to have those quiet nights in New Orleans Square when the Mark Twain is making its evening trips. I'm looking forward to having those times again.

Yall can have your quite nights after I make my trip in November. Until then, that dragon better be going. I didn't get to see it in 2007 because of the Pirates Lair thing coming. I want to see it this time!
