Well it does say that some volunteer opportunities are listed on lesser notice. I presume those are for larger, one-day events than something more ongoing that you'd volunteer at.

When I searched it also gave me the link to my local United Way saying that "your local Volunteer Center may have additional volunteer opportunities in your community". We'll have to see if those opportunities will be included, too.

Oh, and for those wondering, down at the bottom of the FAQ for the Disney program, it says that you can upgrade the 1-day ticket into a multi-day or Annual Pass, similar to the current birthday promotion.

I have a feeling that's more of a "Oh good! You like to volunteer? Here's something else you can do!" and that doesn't necessarily mean that those other opportunities will qualify for the Disney day.

The APs are gonna freak out when they assume they get a "gift card" again like the FOYB offer and find out they only get Fastpasses, trading pins or they can "Donate your free ticket to your community!"

I don't know about DLR, but at WDW they can take and use the special entry card and then upgrade it at full gate value to any variety of AP, only paying the difference. And if the use is within 30 days of expiration of the AP they can upgrade to the AP at the renewal rate.

Does apply @ DLR. Read on www or heard on tv.
