But in other news, the last time I was in Canada, it was very cool for Little Wallaby and me to tour all the places in Kansas that they use for Smallville.

BW, It all depends on the time of year you go. Right now out in the west coast it has been hovering around 37c not sure what that is in F but I am guessing it is damn hot in what ever scale you use. Now come to my neck of the woods in say February well you would be talkin -40c which is the opposite of damn hot.

That is why we all head down to the world in the winter.

37c is 98.6F and -40c is -40F. (Gotta love Google!)

Aw, Shorty, you beat me to it. I have this little book put out by Dennison back in 1977 that gives English to Metric conversions and vice versa. They had a lot of little books on various subjects back then. It's well worn, but still servicable. It also has cute little cartoons to illustrate the differences between the two systems. Best thing about it is, if the power goes off or I'm having a bad computer day, I can still get the information I need to convert from or to English to metric. And I don't have to wade through a huge almanac to find it, either. I hate getting distracted. ;)

Hey Big Wallaby, the Smallville sights in Cloverdale are just 40 minutes down the road from me. I live in Abbotsford and work downtown Vancouver. I always found it so amazing that Smallville, Kansas was that green instead of the yellow and brown you expect from mid-west prairie towns.
