I watched the video. I am shocked about that squirel. No drugs for him. Ouch!
I don't drink beer at work. My sister did that at collage. The class was watching Terminator II. Each time Arnold would say "I will be back", the class had to drink a can of beer. After the movie was over almost all of the stundents were passed out.
Try drinking Dasani when you are thirsty. That crap makes you more thirsty on a hot day. I bring in my own Propel Berry and I am fine for the day. :)

And that is why you get what you pay for. A lawyer and a monorail pilot. Hey, that sounds like an idea for a late 90's sitcom.

Dasani has salt in it. Not a good thirst quencher.
I prefer SmartWater, for two reasons: One, it has electrolytes without sugar and calories, and second, the bottle is perfectly sized so you drink one, refill it, drink a second and you have your minimum water intake for the day.
Helps me make sure I get enough, anyway.

Thank you for the welcome.
I am one of those that finally posted to one of the solemn post.
I am also one of those SG

, you know the one that stands in front of a sign and wants to know where that place is. I do have an excuse though, usually I'm so excited at being at Disney World that I can't take in everything in and will miss stuff (this gets much better after the 1st day), when you show me I look properly embarressed and tell you how stupid I am. The other reason is (if you don't accept the first) is that I am just this side of senile. You know the person that walks two feet and can't remember why she stood up in the first place, that would be me.
Even though I can be a SG I do try to be a considerate one, to both cast members and guest alike. I don't try to get something for free, lie about the kid's ages to get cheaper prices or on a ride they shouldn't be on. I don't butt in line and I make the kids behave in line. I also don't slap my kid because they don't want to ride something (this happened on Haunted Mansion  ).
I appreciate all that cast members do to make my stay a happy one. I also realize that everyone has a bad day and that even means cast members, so when I do meet one not quite so friendly (doesn't happen often) I figure just a bad day, smile and move on.
I will let you know when I'm going and if you ever see a short, just this side of roly poly, lady with glasses and short brown hair standing there looking confused (okay I know that could be a million people) ask if her name is Shirley. If it is please just guide me somewhere out of harms way and I will figure out where to go soon.
Thanks again for all your wonderful work and after this post aren't you glad that I don't post.

Imposter. True SG's aren't considerate! :D:
I
love what you said about being so excited to be in Walt Disney World that you may sometimes miss things! Seems to me that that level of SG-like behavior is much easier to deal with then those who just don't care to read signs or are just idiots or jerks.
Glad to have you here!

have to agree with wombat.
SG's know what they are doing is wrong, and do it anyway.
guests that simply are having fun, and make a mistake, but don't do it again and again are really not an SG.

There are eight dog smilies filed under "Animals, Mammals" alphabetically under "D".
Ya try to make things simple for the simple folks, but....

I usually drink the following in the parks: Smart water, Aquafina and Sam's club water. Now if it was DCA and I was not driving, a beer or a rum coke.

You have just described 99.9% of the people that I deal with every day at work. (We are excited that you are so excited about visiting us here at WDW.)
- Vistors like that I call "typical Guest" [aka job security]. :D:
- Cast members like that I call CP or "working a lot of doubles?".

- Blue badges like that I call ..... oops, can't use that language here.

That is ok though. When those blue badges act like that, myself (and a lot of others) remind them that
more layoffs are coming!
If they would finally bring back Cast Excellence Surveys, I have a list and a sharp pencil. ;)
I do know a few CMs that see blue badges like that and have started saying
"Squirrel!" as they pass by them.

darph, you just crack me up :D: This "Coaster" has gotten you many miles.

Wonder who actually understands what it is? Though you hardly use it.

Bet coaster was used for Repartee & diatribes. HA! Aren't you thrilled "design on a dime" is over & I'm back? LOL BTW, Welcome Swordfish Flotilla & MyLittleAngels. :)

Congratulations darph! You pay for this P R? :D: Of course darph was wearing this shirt. Tis the only one he owns! ;) Wasn't he also carrying a Pine Float?
