Re: What is the deal with people on the Internet?
Given my job and who I work for, I always chuckle when mods on a forum get all power hungry. I ran a large forum for a while, maintaining order was not always easy, but I did have fun with it :twisted:

Well this is the one and only Disney-related forum that I am a member on, and I love it. You must be doing something right then. :D:

Maybe someday I'll be a CM...

Re: What is the deal with people on the Internet?
I apologize for bringing up this topic again, but I just got back from two weeks out of the country. (with very limited Internet access) This topic is still on my mind and there is a bit more that I have to say on this subject;
With the exception of this message board, I don't bother to leave any comments anywhere online. Not even after news articles. I've come to realize that in general, nobody cares what I have to say anyway.
Besides, no matter what I say, I'm screwed.
Either I say something that unintentionally offends someone and they give me a nasty response,
OR
I say something positive and a get a nasty response from someone because they didn't like the fact that I was being positive.
I'm glad that this is mostly a peaceful board. Besides, one if its core topics is something that I love; talking about how stupid people can be!
Anyway, thanks again for the great responses in this thread guys! :)

Ain't it the truth? I'm with you on commenting just about anywhere else. Something about the Interwebs just brings out the "my way or the highway" impulses in people, and no one is willing to even listening to an opposing view.Disneyguy85 wrote:I apologize for bringing up this topic again, but I just got back from two weeks out of the country. I keep looking but cannot find any text under that picture. I've been told it's there and that you have to look carefully. I just don't see it.
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

You must be getting older. Consider LASIK surgery for your eyes. :D:Big Wallaby wrote:I keep looking but cannot find any text under that picture. I've been told it's there and that you have to look carefully. I just don't see it.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.
