When it comes to Rachel Ray, I have to wonder what they pump into her to keep her so perky, no one is that perky naturally, especially for long periods of time.

Torture for a drummer is a crowd either clapping on the on beat instead of the after beat or just randomly clapping along with the music. There's been times when I wanted to offer a class on clapping during the first break.

TIP: Watch the drummer's left hand and stick. When he/she hits the snare drum with it, CLAP!!!

Rant over.

I have to agree Hobie. While I've never really performed as a drummer (well, not with a set, I was in the drumline in High School) Just being at a concert with people clapping at the wrong part or even worse, when everyone in the crowd seems to be clapping at a different time, I have a hard time just enjoying the music. I've been known to just look around and say, I really wish people could all clap at the same time at least.

It's caused by a dreaded, sometimes fatal, disease named Lakarhythm.

As a drummer, I *have* given clapping lessons. :)

Well, Then here's one about bass players:

Hey bass player, look at the bass player.
Look at that smile - there's sadness in that smile.
Look at that chord structure - there's sadness in that chord structure.
Look at him flail like at the Wailing Wall with nothing but stubby fingers and a dumb look on his face.
