CUT IT OUT.
Beer is a refreshing beverage. Not to sacrificed for some weird lab experiment.(of course 1 or 2 have given their lives for beer can chicken)

Nothing like a BIG serving of German Choclate Pie,washed down with a ice cold Bud. (I thought my sister was going to hurl)

I have watched the cooking channel out here. They were baking with beer. I saw them add beer to peanut brittle. The beer brings out the color of the candy. So, beer is now used in different ways. One year we did add beer to the gray at Thanks Giving. It was good.

Slightly off-topic--but around here, that's normal--but at the Gilroy Garlic Festival, held the last 3 weeks of July, if I remember right, they have everything made of garlic--even garlic ice cream. Anybody here brave enough--and local enough--to try that one?

We like going to Gilroy Garlic Festival. Lots of fun! Garlic ice cream was good, infact most foods at Garlic Festival were amazing.

My parents lived in Morgan Hill. It's about five miles north of Gilroy. During the Garlic Festival you could smell the garlic waffing through town. All the vampires decamped for Watsonville.

Many, many years ago, I had dinner with friends at the Stinking Rose in San Francisco and we all had the garlic ice cream for dessert. I don't remember a lot of the meal (it was about that long ago) other than everything was really good. I'd do it again. And we can smell the garlic from Gilroy in San Jose when it's Gilroy Garlic Festival time.

Mmmmmm... bacon...
Well so much for my Homer Simpson impression.
Actually, I'll be this could make a really deadly Caesar. Maybe, it should have a sausage for a garnish instead of a celery stalk.
