I always said have a great day, Weather it was dark or not. It's so general.

I like "Have a good one" hehe
It works for when they're leaving.. it works for when they're coming.. it just works. :)
However, it doesn't work when I ask someone "how was everything" when they are just getting to the park in the morning. :?

Everytime the phone rang at WDW tonight I had to stop myself from answering the answer we use at my other job. It was odd, It's always been the other way around.... must be the painkillers ;)

I worked right in the front of the park so I would get this quite often.
"Hi, How has your day been
so far?"
"Ummm... We just got here."
"And how has it been
so far?"
"Oh Great!!"

I work in costuming and when we call over guests to check out costumes I've said "main issue costuming this.. oh wait, I mean  I can help the next guest over here."

After 10 years at the Park, I still get the urge to "take the count" every hour.
Kill me now.

Answering the home phone is always a sign. "Thank you for calling the Disneyland Resort Ticketing and Reservation line, this is...oh, shit." Fortuanetly, it was a friend on the other end, and when he stopped laughing, he completely understood.

I'm hoping my new voicemail message will discourage scheduling to keep calling me to see if I wanna come in earlier or whatever. When I wanna do that, I call them... otherwise, just let me sleep.
My message goes a little something like: "If this is my family... I need money. If this is a friend... I need money, but if you wanna just leave a message that's fine too. If this is scheduling... I've got enough money. Go away."

I don't think that will help, many times I've told scheduling that I don't need the hours and they will keep bugging me until I either say yes, or just ignore them.
