DisneyMom's father-in-law is the gentleman in the ECV saluting and Ernie is the gentleman on far left saluting.

When I worked at Knott's, they played the National Anthem before opening. We were required to stop and if wearing a hat as part of our costume, remove it. Since they had loudspeakers all over the park, it was hard not to miss hearing the anthem. Since we all knew when the anthem would play, ROs and train crews made sure they were not causing a safety problem when the anthem was played. We had to do the test run before the anthem played and the park opened. They played God Bless America at park closing, but we weren't required to do anything special except close our rides when it played.

Oh, I nearly forgot. One time I and another conductor at the Calico Railroad were folding the flag before dark, and this lady guest came up and said how glad she was to see the flag being folded correctly--she even insisted on getting a picture! That really made my day! :) If I remember right, she said she was a military mom.
