I would love to see fake displays at Disneyland. I have seen the fake frozen lemonade in a cup on the carts. It is fun watching the guests trying to take it off of the wooden slate. I was asking someone there in the park how they make it look real drinks. The take water and a powder and stir. That's cool. Little Tykes but butter. I would love to see a fake churro on display and see someone tempt to steal and try to eat it as well.

Come to think of it...
The paintings in Tony's at MK are really nice. Can I just pick one out to take home with me?

I was at a restaurant somewhere, many years ago, and they actually did have art on the walls that had price tags on them. Evidently they had had so many requests for the art that they did this, and printed on the menu that if you wanted some of the artwork, you paid for it at the cashier when paying for your meal. Can't remember where it was or when, though--damn aging process. ;)

Ikea does something similar. On the walls of the hall going to the upstairs restrooms (right by their cafe) is a bunch of artwork. Every piece is labeled with the price and where to find it in the store. There's even a sign explaining this there.felinefan wrote:I was at a restaurant somewhere, many years ago, and they actually did have art on the walls that had price tags on them. Around here, however, we don’t look backwards for very long.

Sounds like the old "Egg and the I" across the street from the LA County Art Museum. Miss that place.felinefan wrote:I was at a restaurant somewhere, many years ago, and they actually did have art on the walls that had price tags on them. Shorty82,
Where is the Ikea? We have a few out here. :)
Can we keep the play area and place it at Lost Children?
