Is shipping free too? I can't afford shipping.

You know what else is free, don't spread this around though, AIR!

Unless you need to put it in a tire, then the cheapskate gas station making billions on oil (and who won't let me have FREE, delicious, hostess snowballs) charge anywhere from .25 to .50 for AIR! Who has that kind of money these days!

My computer kept telling me "You have 47 viruses, would you like us to clean them up??
Two days later, "You have 54 viruses,would you like us to clean them up"
After it got to 65, I was begining to wonder who was 'putting' the f-in viruses on my computer. :mad: Now I'm stuck using the Library's units. :(

Whatever you do, don't use anything by Ascentive.com, especially their "FinallyFree" offer they are running ads for on T.V.. Because what Ascentive does is they load your computer with malware during the "free scan" and then demand payment to remove them. I have Automatic Update on my computer, along with Windows Defender, both free.

The other day, though, as I was logging on, I got a red shield in my tray saying my firewall was off. I clicked to turn it back on, and contacted Microsoft. I got the reply from support, and they say that you have to turn your firewall off manually, which I know I didn't do. This has never happened before. I was doing what I found on the Microsoft site to speed up my computer; disk cleanup, defrag (didn't need it), and when I got to detect and fix disk errors is where it went kerblooie. Got the blue screen that said Kernal Data Inpage Error, and I didn't install any new hardware or software improperly or otherwise. I jotted down the tech info, and when my computer thankfully restarted on its own, I went to the Microsoft site and checked the codes. Of the 5 codes, three had no matches, one said the IDE channel and all attached devices were missing (huh?) and what's really weird is one applied to Windows NT, and I have XP! WTF?

I also seem to have lost my Weather Channel Desktop application; I logged on today, got an "Internet Explorer Script Error" ; line 17446, char 29, error unterminated string constant, code 0, URL http://d.i.imwx.com/services/dwzeus/dw6 ... pver=60004 . When asked if I wished to keep running scripts on this page, I said yes, but it kept coming back; said no and it kept coming back; it took several clicks on yes and no to finally get rid of that window. Then another window pops up saying TWC Desktop Error; unable to initialize "page"; I clicked OK. With this came another window, same URL, but line 32, char5, error: object expected, code 0.

Anybody know what the hey-high-horry is going on here, and who do I notify, Microsoft again or the Weather Channel? Or Compaq/HP?

All that stuff hurts my brain. Not to start a platform flame war but Macs make everything sooooo much easier.

TWC Desktop Error
TWC = The Weather Channel
It is global and not you that is the problem apparently. Search the internet for answers and maybe there is one, not sure.

I used cached to find this link:
