Great report Little Cricket! I was (as was every guide in our department) on VIP that night, but I was with the ONLY celeb who wasn't invited to the event but simply bought tickets for his daughters. It turned out great because we got to just have fun at the party without having to be there hours early or do the purple carpet or the concert or anything. I agree that, all things considered, it wasn't as terrible a night as I was expecting. I guess when people pay $250 bucks a pop they take their behavior a little more seriously ;)
