As to having to leave when I did, I had to leave due to family commitments, namely going to my parents house to help my 91 year old grandmother with doing some cleaning chores that we had started earlier in the day, and that she was unable to do by herself.
No good deed goes unpunished.

And it turns out that yours truly is an idiot. My Stupid Technician Trick for the day? Plugging a RJ45 Ethernet cable into an empty bezel rather than the ethernet port.

In a typical Disney CM manner he helped my by bringing in most of the groceries but as usual I do not care if he left a box of kleenex or can of coke in the car. I just wanted the Priingles and a couple cokes and the perishibles.
In a not so Disney CM manner he was over apologetic.
I gave Pupura a black teddy bear and mom got the one that was honey coloured and looked a bit like CBeilby. Mom named him Pudgy. I gave some left overs to Pupura including a baked potato and prime rib as she was going to have to have a nice dinner since CBeilby was so behind schedule.
It is nice that he admitted he was WRONG.
What made me mad was being told to check the connections. RULE ONE: is it plugged in? I learned that back when televisions were only in black and white, lol.

I also had immediately checked the telephone to make sure incoming service worked.
Dont you HATE when technicians ask you if it is plugged in?
I was going to the bank to get money so I could get time on the computer at the cyber cafe. This little car swerves in front of me and I slide to a stop. NOTE: there was no traffic from my bumper east to Norwalk Blvd. and probably half way to the freeway. I was cussing and asking the idiot why it was so important to not get into the lane behind me. He then went on west on the street instead of turning right so why the big deal over turning.
Computer is back to normal but am taking NOTES of any sites that were visited while I was at the store. You never know what technicians do with your computer while you are gone. :D:
.
.
Oh and I just checked my NOTES and the baked potato came with a cup of sour cream, cheeses and bacon. Another cup had butter and chives.

Thank god it wasn't an old Token-ring network... The token could have fallen out and you might never find it...
