I know, it was horrible, but it was so unexpected that I just about fell out of my chair laughing.

Sorry, this made me think of that. Hey, it's better than what one pilot and I did all night, trade comments that used the word, "point". Yeah, so... right... um... next topic?

Works for some of the Engineers on the Railroad. (Until one got caught and earned a 30-day furlough.)

Just make sure to pee off the side with the ground rail. 600VDC and conductive fluids aren't a good combination!

The Mythbusters busted that myth a while back. They proved that urine doesn't actually leave the body in a steady stream (though it appears to) so there is no path for the electricity to follow. Probably still not a good idea to pee on an electrified rail though.

Maybe for some folks. Had to clean up a mess once after some moron peed on a 12kVAC line (not at Disney). Wasn't a complete set of him left to bury.

I didn't mind doing the cleanup, as that meant I wouldn't have to figure out what to tell his family.

"Not a good idea" is a bit of an understatement here.

aren't the monorails 600vDC? that would blow a kidney...
at least low voltage kicks em' free,
high voltage hangs on to make sure the job is done right.

I thought it was the other way around. Low voltage will hold on to you while high voltage will throw you.
