In some ways, I am more impressed with being wrapped on the truck. And in the picture, I can see that that's you top fourth from the right. So

Or your picture in the Post Office.

And I agree with Pirate. They need to put that wrap on a Setra or Prevost. And for the comfort of all of you, I suggest five buses with custom seating.

If they go with it and want help designing the wrap, let me know.

None of us mind your venting BRW. Vent when needed. You are one of SGT favorites - ya know this! :) Besides, every "great" site needs a "fine" lawyer. ;) Old adage; the problem could be much worse & not fixable. You'll be off your feet, not singing with VM, not doing the normal things for awhile, yet I'll bet your Honey Do List will be cut way back & you'll not have to mow the yard. Take advantage of all you can + REST! We all care abt you BRW. You have many good thoughts going your way & lots of support here. Plz post & keep us updated. :)

Aw, you're going to get me choked up! Thanks for this. I'm in a better mood now, and in the grand scheme of things, my problems are nothing compared to others, even on this site (Bru and Churchy, I'm thinking of you!).

And yes, the honey-do relaxation has already begun. In fact, my parents (!) came over unbidden last Friday and completely mowed, trimmed and weeded our yard.

Thanks again MS and everyone else for the kind words thoughts and prayers. I find out the MRI results tomorrow and I'll let you know what the plans are.

Just saw this thread...Awww...Wombat, I know how you feel, just having gone through surgery myself. I am still recovering and it does suck, tho I am getting around much better now. I am 8 weeks out of surgery now and they tell me I won't be fully recovered for a year! That blows.

But I agree it is better to get it over with, in the long run you will have pain for a less amount of time. Believe me, that pain can start to affect everything in your life, your mood, your emotional state and you do not want that!

You will be back with the VM as soon as you can and that is worth looking forward to. Having your health is everything. If one little part of the body hurts like the dickens or is not well, your whole life is affected and the lives of your family as well.

My prayers are with you and I agree with Wallaby. Celebration would be the perfect place for the surgery....Just think, your exercises when the surgery is done could be walking laps around the theme parks or swimming laps in Stormalong Bay! :D: ...I wish I had thought of that for my surgery, though I doubt Kaiser would have gone for it! ;)

I am thinkiong of you and praying that surgery will go smoothly and you will recover quickly! :)

Okay, got my MRI results and the good news is... well, not really there. The bad news is that my tendon is basically shredded and surgery is necessary, sooner rather than later.

My surgery is scheduled for Monday September 22. They will be not just shoring up the tendon, but completely reconstructing my ankle. Then I'm in a cast for two weeks and completely off my foot for three months. Such fun awaits! :crutch:

Okay, there is good news to this. While I'll miss out on VM's District competition and hectic holiday show schedule, I should be back in "fighting form" by next Spring when we're gearing up for the International stage, and I'll be able to still go to Anaheim next summer!!!
:chorus:
