In some ways, I am more impressed with being wrapped on the truck. And in the picture, I can see that that's you top fourth from the right. SoBRWombat wrote:It's not exactly my name in lights on Broadway, but it'll do!

None of us mind your venting BRW. Vent when needed. You are one of SGT favorites - ya know this! :) Besides, every "great" site needs a "fine" lawyer. ;) Old adage; the problem could be much worse & not fixable. You'll be off your feet, not singing with VM, not doing the normal things for awhile, yet I'll bet your Honey Do List will be cut way back & you'll not have to mow the yard.BRWombat wrote:I have to vent some frustration somewhere, hope y'all don't mind.
Plus it is a well know FACT that RUM will speed up your recovery time!!!Main Streeter wrote:None of us mind your venting BRW. Vent when needed. Aw, you're going to get me choked up! Thanks for this. I'm in a better mood now, and in the grand scheme of things, my problems are nothing compared to others, even on this site (Bru and Churchy, I'm thinking of you!).Main Streeter wrote:None of us mind your venting BRW. BRWombat wrote:Okay, got my MRI results and the good news is... well, not really there. The bad news is that my tendon is basically shredded and surgery is necessary, sooner rather than later.
My surgery is scheduled for Monday September 22. They will be not just shoring up the tendon, but completely reconstructing my ankle. Then I'm in a cast for two weeks and completely off my foot for three months. Such fun awaits!:crutch:
Okay, there is good news to this. While I'll miss out on VM's District competition and hectic holiday show schedule, I should be back in "fighting form" by next Spring when we're gearing up for the International stage, and I'll be able to still go to Anaheim next summer!!!
