When I get asked that, I just reply, "Costumes? Yes, sometimes that tux is a little hot for Mickey but he's happy to be able to meet his guests. And all Pluto has to wear is his collar. And the Chipmunks don't wear anything!" This non-answer usually satisfies them (usually they are laughing).

Oh, I love playing stupid with the questions about people in costumes. What do you mean, someone... inside... Mickey? Were they put in surgically? And why? I mean, Mickey is his own Mouse. I would hate to see someone even think about doing something like that. And I know for sure he hasn't had any surgeries recently, because I've seen him every day for the last four or five months. Also, I am pretty sure if Mickey had someone surgically inserted, that would be considered animal cruelty and I'm positive it would have made the papers if anyone had done that, much less Disney.

A little snark never hurt anyone!
When my attendant overhears something like, "Does he have a fan in that suit of his?" He says back, "Do YOU have fan in your clothes?" Person says no and he goes, "Now you know!"
He's also has had a person say, "Oh, they see out of their mouths!" In which he said, "Do you see our of YOUR mouth?" And that usually shuts the person up.

I was helping Timon one day when a guest came up and asked, "Hey, where's Pumbaa?" Timon made signs to indicate that he was eating lunch, and the guest replied, aghast,
