That's why Mentos are such a great candy! They're tasty, AND provide hours of entertainment!
"Excuse me, are those ducks real?"
"Yes, sir, but the water is fake."

I noticed this many times today at AK, from in the middle of the walkway to nemo, to people stopping in one of the two turnstiles at lion king to wait for their group.
Do like I do. just keep walking right over them. If they say anything just say "Oh sorry thought thought this was a path way, not a stop and look stupid way."
Re: Stopping People
That is a New Year's Eve tradition here in Celebration. It's the culmination of a multi-day holiday we started a couple of years back called "Get Lit." The last day is Dec. 31, which is celebrated by the uniting of Diet Coke and Mentos in the middle of the street. There have to be lots of fireworks in the street too. Usually the street is deserted, but last year there was some sort of goings-on downtown, so everyone was driving down the road where the party was going on. People were driving over lit fireworks...that's taking "Get Lit" too far!Ms. Matterhorn wrote:Has anyone tried making fountains out of Diet Coke and Mentos? It was on the Today show a couple of years ago around the 4th of July. I tried it and it works! PM me for details!

Taking "get lit" a little too far? I thought that's what I "accidently" did in Vegas years ago...... :D:Syndrome wrote:That is a New Year's Eve tradition here in Celebration. We're not going to be able to top it this year (at least I hope not). The first day of Get Lit is on a friend's birthday in Dec., so we went to the Melting Pot to celebrate. That meant lots of cocktails and booze + tissue gift wrap + candles on the table = getting lit in a not so good way. We managed to set our table on fire! I managed to keep a calm head (I was the designated driver so I had only had one or two drinks) and was trying to get my companions to pour their water on the fire, but one was laughing her fool head off while the other was trying to smother it with more tissue paper. Thankfully myself, the waiter, and the people at the next table managed to extinguish it. Details and photo are here: http://celebrationfl.blogspot.com/2007_ ... chive.html

Nope, but a fru-fru ice cream drink that I know is very "wimpy" alcoholwise, unlike my friends who were belting down the margaritas. It's my usual drink whenever I go there (and typing these posts has made me crave fondue so I informed hubby we're going tonight!).GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Diet coke?

Ohhhh! I thought the term designated driver meant NO alcohol at all.Syndrome wrote:Nope, but a fru-fru ice cream drink that I know is very "wimpy" alcoholwise, unlike my friends who were belting down the margaritas. I love the Melting Pot! There's one near my dad in Wash., DC. Everytime we go, they keep track of how many times I get hit by the oil :( ...my record is 4 times in one night. :D:
