Luckly the likelihood of hitting a deer in a Monorail is slim. But I wouldn't rule it out as impossible. They are crafty little devils.[/quote]And I heard a story tonight about an eagle on the Epcot beam. Eagles may not get run over by cars and buses, but I know of one who had a very bad experience with a monorail.

This time you can.
Switchbeam 9 wrote:...but a CP bus driver that always drives the "A" (Magic Kingdom) route at night said that a bicyclist was sprawled out on Floridian Way, having been chased down and gored by a buck. Wouldn't surprise me too much because bucks do that to bicyclists in other areas. I rode his bus around 3 nights a week and he never seemed to be the type to tell tall tales.
That was a bus driver on his way home, and when the higher-seniority bus drivers at MK found out who it was, the first comment any would make was "Well, that figures." I have actually talked to the guy it happened to, and it made local headlines. Didn't know it was on Floridian Way.

He was out for a few weeks.

I would rather you not.
If you're going to do that, then you have to get X-Plane and do a Space Shuttle Launch with
turkey vultures in the area.

How about one through the windshield?
A guy I sailed with was a pilot for United. He carried a rubber chicken in his map case. After landing, but before pulling up to the gate, he'd open the side window and put the chicken under the windshield wiper.

I can relate to a monorail hitting a duck in Fantasyland. One day my friends and I were feeding the ducks behind the turkey cart. We saw the driver on the monorail slow down and honk his horn at this stupid duck. The duck flew further down the track. Next thing we see if the monorail hitting the duck which sat on the beam. They duck went plop into the water. I was shocked, but look at the ducks, they are nice to look at but their brains are not quite all there.

This also describes an Ostrich ... well, except for the "nice to look at" part

I have always wanted to know how WDW controls the animal population, but I didn't think they would have to hit them with buses!
No, really. How do they control the animal population? Inquiring minds want to know.
