I don't give a damn what happens to the other clubs but don't get rid of Adventurers Club and Comedy Warehouse! They are loads of fun and are friendlier to younger people since you only have to be 18 to get in them instead of 21.
Also, if the AC closes where will I live? (See under my name, came from a quick visit to the AC with BW one time.)

My daughter and I are both very upset. AC is the highlight of our trips to WDW. It is unique - unlike the "dining and shopping experiences" they are planning to put in their place. I can shop or dine at home - the AC SCREAMS Disney. I too thought maybe moving it to AK or AKL - anything to save the AC. I never liked the clubs - but AC, and to a lesser degree CW, were wonderful, affordable alternatives for teens and their parents. All those little princesses do grow up - and where else can you take them to have a good time when they are teens? I only go to DD because of AC - but while there my daughter and I have dropped a fair amount of cash. I think they are killing the goose that laid the golden egg, but I am biased.
And I have an actual love letter from Hathaway, who needs cuddlewinks! :D:

Where were these nightclubs? I've NEVER heard of them like...ever! How good were they?

On Pleasure Island, between the Marketplace and the West Side of WDW's Downtown Disney. Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse are both a lot of fun and I haven't been to either nearly enough, especially with PI closing.

As a West Coaster like Freak, I don't know these clubs either. What was the Adventurer's Club and what kind of entertainment did they offer?

The Adventurers Club is pure fun. Themed as a 1937 Explorer Club, you'll find a zany bunch of characters residing here.
There's the intellectual Professor Otis Throckmorton Wren, the daring darling Samantha Sterling, the debonair Hathaway Browne, Emil Bleehall the scount from Sandusky, Ohio, the Club President Pamelia Perkins, Fletcher Hodges who is rather indescribable and Colonel Critchlow Sutchbench who is a permanent fixture of this establishment.
Of course, such an exclusive club at Pleasure Island needs to be properly staffed. Sunny Knight the maid and Graves the butler do an excellent job of overseeing the festivities.
There are four different rooms to visit:
Main Salon: Be prepared to be inducted into the Adventurer's Club by taking the club oath, singing the club song and learning the very important club salute.
Mask Room: There's more to the masks than meets the eye.
Treasure Room: Beezle the Genie floats above. Be careful what you wish for in this artifact lined room.
Library: This is where the main shows take place. They vary throughout the evening and may include the talented Samantha Sterling's Cabaret, the Balderdash Competition and the Hoopla finale.
Overlooking the fun below is the Zebra Mezzanine. If you want to be a part of the interactive craziness, head downstairs to the Main Salon which connects to the other three rooms.
Kungaloosh is the club credo as well as the signature drink. By the end of the evening, you'll be a smiling and proud member of the Adventurer's Club. KUNGALOOSH!

The Comedy Warehouse
- The "Who What and Warehouse" improv group entertains the crowd nightly at Pleasure Island. Keeping in Disney style, you can expect the humor here to be clean and appropriate for all ages.
The unscripted comedy show is based solely on interaction with the audience. If you're an improv fan, you'll enjoy it.
There are four performances on Sundays through Wednesday with five shows on Thursdays through Saturday.

A Farewell Kungaloosh! to any and all Adventurer's Club CM and fans on here. This place was always a highlight of my trip and I'm sad that I won't be able to make it out one last time to see Emil, Otis, Hathaway, Pameila, Graves and the maid de jour. This is truly a unique attraction unavailable anywhere else in the world.
I agree with the idea of making it a supper club if that would save the club. Disney has lots of great places to dine but only one adventurer's club. Other than a shopping trip to World of Disney, the AC and the Comedy Warehouse were the only reasons for me to come to DD. Frankly, there are better dining options at the Disney hotels than at DD. Fultons and Wolfgang Pucks have both went downhill enough in the last few years that I rarely bother with them (they're not horrible, but the food is not up to their previous status and there is simply better food to be had elsewhere with the limited number of dining slots I have on a trip).
Marching along, we're adventurers...

I'm with the rest of you -- don't care about the dance clubs, but save the Adventurer's Club and Comedy Warehouse!!
Any thoughts on relocating them to the parks?

Ac sounds very unique and entertaining. It should be saved. Thanks for the info, Shorty.
