the old saying you catch more flies with h oney than vinegar applies. granted there are times when i myself can get a little out of sorts, but i usually am pushed to my limits. i've found that if you speak with clarity and explain your problem often times it will be rectified. but many people are of the mindset that if they are loud and obnoxious they will not only get what they want, but be rewarded too. i work with the public and the screamers get more action in what they want than the calm people, because management is usually afraid of them and wants to get them out of the store and are afraid they'll make complaints w/upper management.
we've been to disney many times and if we do have any sort of problem, we just contact the front desk and they've always been helpful with resolving it. i'm not one to expect a perk or be comped for anything, occasionally it happens and it is unexpected but nice.
as always, to all the park workers, thank you for making our visits wonderful.

I understand that the problem with those keycards for hotel rooms is that the batteries in the door unit go out very quickly. I can understand why they wouldn't be hardwired into the hotel power line--a blackout would leave everybody in the hotel locked in or out of their rooms. The last time I stayed at a hotel for a retreat, my key card wouldn't work, I went to the front desk and they checked it; the card was good, but it turned out the door unit was the problem. And yes, sometimes there's a problem with the key card.

I never understood why folks were trying to catch flies in the first place. Kill them yes, but not catch them.

Dave: Bill, have you ever heard the expression "It's easier to catch flies with honey instead of vinegar"?
Bill: Dave, have you ever heard the expression "Only a hillbilly sits around and tries to figure out the best way to catch flies"? :D:
