Well, sometimes the disability or illness isn't always that apparent. I saw a lot of GKTW families when I worked at Epcot on my previous 3 CPs, but of course I never did ask what the issue was with the child out of respect and courtesy to them and their families. It could be that this is their last family vacation of happiness because of how terminal the child's illness is and they want to have that fun before the inevitable happens.

I was forever having families wanting to leave their sleeping kid in the stroller on the train. (Even had one SG put the stroller, with kid inside, on the platform and return to his seat.)
The all had the same explanation of why they should be exempted from the safety rules, "But my child is asleep!"
And I always replied, "No problem, we have a really loud whistle on the engine and we'll wake him up for you."
Never failed to get me a dirty look.

Re: the morphine kid- Don't underestimate the SG ability to boldface lie about something to get what they want or take a shortcut. I have heard that someone was auctioning Make-a-Wish buttons on eBay. I'd like to know if that is true, because based on what I've seen it seems plausible.

I'm not sure about MAW buttons, but we have seen "Green Light" GACs advertised as "unlimited fast passes". I know they have been reported by multiple people (me included) to both eBay as out of policy and to one of my favorite e-mail addresses:

not keep you advised of any outcome.
