I looked up on the web what happens when you call 867-5309 for various area codes....someone had tried it in 2004....
Most of the numbers are out of service. A few actually play the song, and of those there were plumbing and dating services.
The others who answered were persons of the MALE gender :rolleyes:

Anybody ever try calling Beachwood 4-5789? For those of you too young to remember the old phone system, that would be 234-5789; no idea what area code, but when that song came out, it was all one area code anyway....

PEnnsylvania 6-5000?

(Modern version is 212-736-5000, the number for the Hotel Pennsylvania in New York City, holds the record for the NYC phone number in longest continuous service)
