Hi everyone longtime lurker first time poster. Going to the parks as a solo sometimes you get to hear the most interesting lines.
While watching Wishes one night a guy looks at his SO and says, "Ya' know if that castle wasn't in the way, these fireworks would be great!" I looked over to see if he was joking, he wasn't. The wife/gf looked like she wanted to smack him.
Right after they took the arm off the ball in Epcot. Man to family "I thought they took the ball down" Again I look to see if he's joking. Nope.
And my all time favorite, a couple standing on the bridge at AK looking at a map, wife points to EE and says "That's where they keep the dinosaurs" I really hope they didn't realize I was laughing at them.

When they were in the process of removing the wand all that was left of the EPCOT was the little blue stripe which incidentally looks like sleigh runners. On the monorail we were holding right in front of SSE by WSC and a woman said "Wow! They are already putting up Christmas decorations in July!"

A little girl had asked Mickey if he shared a bed with Minnie. He kindly gestured they both lived and slept in separate homes.
Yeah, they are pretty old fashioned for a steady couple going 80 years strong.

Old fashioned? I'd say so!
I have a question, what is the reason given to why Mickey and the other fur characters never talk except during shows while the princesses and other face characters do? I know the characters and their attendants have to be asked that at least every once in a while.
I got question similar 135 yesterday. I was working the cart by the train station and directly behind me was the stairs going up to the station with the sign "To Trains" clearly visible. A guest asks me where the train station was. Ummm, how about right behind me?
I would love to be in front of City Hall and a guest ask me where City Hall is. I could have so much fun pretending I didn't know before telling them. I've been asked a lot where City Hall is. At the train cart I can understand as you can't see it from there but I've been asked while working the pin cart before with City Hall clearly visible. I've been tempted to (but have and will never) give a smart remark about it being the big building straight across Town Square that says "City Hall" in big gold letters and has the big "information I's" on it.
I hope they put the clock back on it soon, it'll make giving directions there easier from places where you can't see it.

Watch the cartoons and then imagine someone trying to duplicate the voices.

I know that! But I'm talking about the reason given in the parks.

Of course, now they have voice changing electronics available. They could outfit them with a "voice", except I can see an assistant forgetting its on, and utterring something.....non-Disney!
