Yes, she said family, which to me implies adults, if she had said child I would've had more sympathy, but I think adults can handle themselves for 5 minutes while she waits for the next crossover.

Actuallty she was in her "mild mannered secret identity" and was secretly able to walk through the float. But you were protecting her secret identity as it was very likely that someone in the crowd would see her exercising her super power while not in hero uniform. ;) :D:
