Welcome to my world. The Main Gate is my home, in fact i will be there on thursday night. Main Entrance GC lead. This year you will most likely be responsible for not only keeping kids from going to Dl not DCA etc.. but also you will have to help keep the kids from fighting with each other in the Esplanade. Its pretty cake but its always fun for me at least to pull kids out of line hwo smell like booze, pot, whatever.

Yeah, sounds boring, but the night I did it, I was the only one unscathed. You have to stop a mass crowd of people from moving and their all teenagers who know everything, so they don't want to. You have to basically bodily stop them and then when it's time for them to move again get out of the way quick. My lead had a big cut on his calf from getting pushed into a planter, and everyone else had some minor scrapes and bruises. I'm just quick. :)

Also they were letting everyone go home after all the kids were in (which was fairly early) and anyone who wanted to stay went by the castle to do GC for the so-called fireworks.

HAH! Bustin' kids sounds like fun. FUN FUN.

I survived New Years Eve out in the hub this past year...I think I'll be fine.
Hey GC lead! I'll be looking forward to seeing ya out there...I'm the crazy blonde chick from da West Siiiiide. Ai Ai!

Is it true that chapstick isn't allowed? A past Grad-Nite CM told me girls got really pissed when they were told they couldn't bring their chapstick in in case it had "drugs" in it, or something of the sort. Anyone hear of this?

I heard from another CM that Main Gate CMS can go dumpster-diving and get all the confiscated stuff. HAH!

I really hope I get a chance to work a grad night or two in the next week. I don't think my schedule for the coming week is even written yet, since I started working mid-cycle (next schedule coming out Saturday will be for the period 2 weeks from now). Maybe I can ask to pull one of the third shifts, maybe it'll even be a good way to start pulling my weight. Show Services should be pretty crazy during a grad night with all the talent and special events. I imagine we'd have to run all over non-stop the place to take care of business.

I have one tomorrow night. I haven't worked a Grad Nite since 2002. Wish me luck!

Euw...I know people who dumpster-dive, but I sure as hell won't. ::tosses hair:: Hahaha.

I can't wait to yell at kids..but I'm only a year older than them...so we'll see how THAT pans out.

How many people are kicked out usually during Grad Nights for having sex, doing drugs, etc etc?

Is it none? Some? None? ???

I am curious because I know people that brag about not getting kicked out on grad nights for the stuff above, and I want to know how strict disney is on this issue?
