Well, it IS convenient, but I noticed it was down BEFORE the outage, soooo

MAYBE the heavy traffic caused the server to overheat, and the cooling fans speeded up to compensate, causing a power drain, to which a substation tripped off line, causing a cascade power failure.

yeah, thats the ticket...

hehehehe
THAT is a good idea! :D:
I always thought they should make kid-sized clear plastic balls with air holes in them like they make for the hamsters so the child can crawl all over the house without touching things....especially good for trips to Grandma's so they cant touch all the little figurines grandmas tend to have... :p:

Good idea!! you could make millions marketing it.

When our grandkids come over, the only "figurines" that they can get at is my "Darth Tater" and all the "Star Wars" figures, as played by Mickey and friends! The "breakables" (Mickey coffee mugs, etc,) are up high, out of reach!!

Wouldn't be time for that to happen. The Song will kill you first.

BTW I have heard of a novel new defence against "The Song". You have to sing along in a loud voice. If everyone in the boat sings along the subtle, secret, mind-altering messages hidden in the soundtrack can't get to you. ;)

I like sitting in the back and using the people in front of me for a blast shield.
I like to "drown" Splash Mt. I have found that if everyone leans forward at the start of a drop, and as the log hits the water and a slight bow wave begins building, everyone suddenly sits up straight you can send some really impressive waves ahead of you. At the WDW attraction I have sometimes taught an entire log full how to time the push. The best one I remember was one time when we timed it perfect (with the right load) and managed to send an estimated 3' tall wave through the laughing place. The wave actually went over the top of the tall cone shaped features. And the logs ahead surfed on an impressive wave. :D:

Actually if you put Big Wallaby and myself in the front, the tidal wave would shut the attraction down due to lack of water left in the attraction! :D:

I haven't met you yet but I have met BW and if you're anywhere similar in size then I believe it. :D:

The resultant news report:

At Disney World today Splash Mountain had to be shut down after a very heavy boat created a tidal wave on the main drop, emptying the entire ride of the water it needs.

In related news, the Rivers of America flooded today. The flooding is believed to be related to the Splash Mountain incident.

So much fun! We deliberately planned the route of our honeymoon so we could ride them in Rotorura. We then went across the road and visited the agrodome and saw the pyramid of sheep!
