We could organize a SGT Texas gathering!BRWombat wrote:Yes! They need a "Lone Star Tour"!
What do you do with the "gifts" and stuff - add them to the package you send along with Elizabeth to the next person, or do they get sent to the person who originally sent Elizabeth?Zazu wrote: All you have to do is to add to her travel log the places you've taken her and things you've done. Adding a wee gift or postcard to her stash is nice, but not required. Cost is just that of sending her along to someone else.
That does sound like fun! I love the museum and try to go occasionally.Whazzup wrote:I want Wittle Wallaby and Mini Meghyn to come visit northwest Florida. Shorty and I can take them to the National Museum of Naval Aviation and take a picture of them sitting in the cockpit of a Blue Angel jet!
Assuming, of course, that Shorty hasn't already moved to Orlando by that time (sniff-sniff for me - YEAH! for him).
Would Barf be there too??BRWombat wrote:Yes! They need a "Lone Star Tour"!
You know, I am not quite sure. Everything I have read up on them seems to indicate that since they eventually make their way back to the original owner and the items go to them once the "tour" is over. I think as long as you keep it to small lightweight items like postcards and such it will still all fit into a padded envelope.Whazzup wrote:What do you do with the "gifts" and stuff - add them to the package you send along with Elizabeth to the next person, or do they get sent to the person who originally sent Elizabeth?
It seems this could quickly become a large package if people keep adding stuff, or maybe I'm just not understanding the logistics correctly.
As long as I can comb the desert I am good...hehehehe!GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:Would Barf be there too??
