That would give a whole new meaning to "the express". :D:

Actually, the Pooh ride was built in the building Mr. Toad's Wild Ride was in and has been around since long before the lagoon was filled in. The only thing built over the lagoon was the playground and Meet and Greet

Have to disagree with you just a bit. 20K was not dismantled for the WTP ride.

You are correct about that it was where the current Pooh's playground is.

Last Fall I was waiting to get my one big dream to come true (ride the front of the monorail, I know groans from the CMs) I had the nicest conversation with this stately older CM at the MK stop who noticed my collection of monorails and asked if I had the pink one yet (nope) but much chatter on which trains were what color as the coral and pink seemed to get confused. This thread brought that back to mind, thanks for the memory tickle

I've heard rumors that Imagineering is planning to put some kind of E-ticket attraction there in the future and that the playground is only a temporary use of the space until they can start on the attraction.

In WDW MK they closed 20K becasue it was too costly to maintain, and literaly burried it under dirt. Then they replaced it with something about Pooh's forest or something.

I agree 100% with them "killing" one attraction to create another. WDW has more land the the city of LA. I am sure they would haveno problem finding space to put new attractions.

The Pooh Ride is where Mr. Toad used to be. The attraction that replaced 20K is "Pooh's Playful Spot"

The only real logistical problem is with space around the parks. Magic Kingdom has all sorts of stuff behind it that rule out adding on too much there, Epcot is surrounded on all sides by well-travelled roads, Studios is a little cubby carved in between World, Osceola and BVD. I guess it could expand East if they wanted to. The only park with any real space around it is AK. And that, I get the feeling, is because when they built it they weren't exactly sure what they wanted it to be.

I think that there is enough space around Magic to do some limited expansion. You have space near Frontierland if you relocated a few buildings and Park3 and could also do something near Tomorrowland if you did a little relocation of World Dr and Pluto Park. Another spot is in the HM area.

Epcot has space for another World Showcase pavillion or 2.

Studios would need some serious rethought.

Having painted my toy monorails to fit the color scheme of the WDW trains I know that the way to recognize the last two colored trains is, Coral and Lime have a white patch in the middle of the stripe on each car. All other colors have a solid stripe.
