That's a long way to go to realize you missed a turn. Now that's scary!Eeyore Tattoo wrote:Reminds me of our recent trip.. We were on the bus returning to POR from Epcot and seemed like a extra long ride. Next think I know we are passing the Nickelodeon hotel..

The added magic comes in the form of a new, professional friend to talk about the magic you saw. Like Cranbiz, I really can't say more. Actually, I have some concerns with that button. And I don't mean the intentional use of said button.GRUMPY PIRATE wrote:So that could be considered "added magic" for the SG's!! (should the need arise!)
My opinions are mine and mine only. If my opinions are the opinion of others who happen to share whatever my crazy views may be, then fine, but it's not because I represent them in having my opinions. Got it?

I know what you mean, for a while I was on the other side of one at work. WE scared the poop out of a few "mistakes" before they realized it is not a toy!!Big Wallaby wrote:That's a long way to go to realize you missed a turn. Now that's scary!

Re: Question about GPS in WDW busses
We have had the "button" accidentally pushed a number of times. The results show outside the bus only. If the company has a pre-determined code message that dispatch can relay to the driver then they are truly effective. Someone from the outside, notifies authorities, who, in turn, call the dispatch office to see if it is a legitimate 911, the dispatcher uses the coded message to call the driver and the driver will either respond with the negative reply, if nothing is going on or the positive if it is. If it isn't anything, then dispatch will inform the driver that the 911 button is on so he/she can shut it off. If the driver responds in the positive manner then he/she will know that we are aware that a problem exists and let the authorities figure a way to deal with it. Not foolproof by any means but better than nothing.Big Wallaby wrote:The added magic comes in the form of a new, professional friend to talk about the magic you saw. Yeah, there are variations, but that is a standard procedure in a duress situation. we had reverse codewords and other things. then again, sometimes someone just didn't have a second cup of coffee, and drops the ball!!Goofyernmost wrote:We have had the "button" accidentally pushed a number of times.
