RALPH AND SUSI!!!!!!!! :D:
I promise to look for SG's and come back with a report on how many Susi annihilated to protect us from their evilness :twisted: ....also on Ralphie's Gingerbread :) ,and to report back on their hotel's policy on going out to the ice machine wearing only a POOH nightshirt!
Hubby can take pictures and we'll ask Susi to post them......No, not of the nightshirt.....

To bad I did not get to meet you outside of DLR.
With tomorrow being Christmas and the holidays and all, I doubt I will get to meet the three of you. If you and susi get a chance have some popcorn for me.

Churchy and all SGTers, I plan many more trips to the Happiest Place on Earth, so I'll announce some dates in the future, will probably be easier to meet after January 1st.... BTW, Ralph and Susi, where are you? Hope your flight home is safe and uneventful...I would imagine you need to rest after this week, but let us know all the details(&Pictures too!!!!)

Pictures are coming! Trip Tales are coming. I will reveal all and dazzle you with wondrous shots of DL at Yuletide. I need to lie down first. The *California Crud* we caught at DL turned into bacterial Bronchitis for me and Raffel is actually doing well. I am so sick still and on antibiotics and albuterol nebulizer. My lungs HURT!!!!!!!! :( I was actually coughing up blood last night because my throat and lung tissue are so raw and sore and bleeding. THAT is how sick I am!

Anyway the trip home was a 22 hour nightmare and it was our usual Disney Christmas Trip from Hell! I think we will not be going at Christmas anymore. Probably will change the timing to just after Labor Day, still nice warm weather and a bit lighter crowds.

And sadder still, we did not get a chance to meet Lady Ulrike and Pattimelt this trip. :( We were just too sick and stayed in bed a LOT to rest and tried to get better (no chance, it just kept getting worse!) Story to come. It will have its very own thread with pictures and stories! Patience, my SGT family!

Mmmmmmmmm......a Hot Toddy! That always did the trick back when I used to get the California Crud every winter when we lived there.

Hot Lemonade works too. I sucked down some honey last night and it helped, a teeny tiny bit.

A shot of Rum, Hot water, Honey and Lemon juice.....That DOES work.... :p: But I do not consume alcohol, I can't with all the Morphine and Percocet I am on for pain, not allowed, it could kill me to mix them so I will just use the Lemon juice, Honey and Hot Earl Grey Tea to wash down another morphine pill or Percocet :p:

Wow no kidding..NO alcohol!! Years ago we had a training session by a MD who was explaining the "multiplication" effect of mixing pain killers and alcohol! It is amazing that one ounce of alcohol can REALLY set of some of the narcotics!

We would frequently encounter "customers" that were partaking of various substances, and had a few that we had to put in the ER!!

Here's a drink to toast your New Year with Susi! The vitamin C in the juices will do you good!


Appropriately it's called Pussy Foot and I know you have cats! :) Meow!

Pussy Foot
Makes 1 cocktail

Ice cubes

1 ½ ounces fresh pineapple juice
1 ½ ounces white grape juice

1 ½ ounces freshly squeezed orange juice

½ ounce grenadine
Lime wedge for garnish

Fill highball glass three-quarters full with ice cubes. Add pineapple, white grape and orange juices. Stir well.

Add grenadine. Stir twice, but not so the grenadine gets completely mixed into the juices. You still want it to look fun. Garnish with lime wedge.

The recipe I got that from also had a version where one added vodka, and lessened the juice.

I don't remember where I got it... now chill on the alcohol in every post please. I know you're trying to be a pirate, but not all pirates got drunk all the time.
