I have some of the old QUAD LP's!!
Does your turntable do 78? If not I have an MP3 recording software suggestion DAK.com has a sound editor that allows you to pay a 78 at 33, record it and with one button convert it. I haven't tried that function yet but hope to soon.

You're right to capitalize "Mosh Pit"...shows that you respect it! You've gotta feel pain every once in a while to know you're alive! And getting kicked, punched in the face or headbutted never hurts as much as the anticipation makes you think it will! (If I have any voice left or a muscle that doesn't hurt after a show, then it wasn't a good show! On the other hand, I enjoy more and more playing shows rather than going to them...I leave my shows in pain and with very little voice left too, but somehow it doesn't keep hurting for days afterward like when I attend a show...maybe age is catching up with me! :rolleyes :)
Rock on!
Edited to add: and I've seen the ION record player you guys are talking about. I tried to get my roommates to let me to get it, but it's a rather hard sell given that we only have three records, two of which are in frames on the wall, and all of which we have the CD's and MP3's of...

Mine came with the software that will emulate the 78 rotation using a 33 capture. I also have some other software suites I am going to use, as some of the records are warped, and I will have to manually take out the distortion!
(I can tell DW thats why im on the computer at home!!!)

Love Ozzy and Black Sabbath, some of my favorite music! We went to Ozzfest a couple years ago and saw some great new bands. I still like the old 60's rock too. Yeah Jerry! Love the Dead!

I went to school with Bill Kreitzman and knew Jerry when he was living in the back of Dana Morgan Music in Palo Alto.

Uh, the Dead ain't together any more... :( I would love to see the remaining members tour again....That would be cool! But without Jerry, sad....Ralphie met Jerry when he was in the hospital. Ralphie's orthopedic surgeon was a neighbor of Jerrys and he told Jerry about Ralphie and his accident and his love for all things Grateful Dead and Jerry Garcia Band, so Jerry went to the hospital and visited with Ralph. Prety damn cool. He got his autograph and great memories of his favorite musician! Ralph LOVES the Dead and Jerry Garcia Band music! He will start to dance if he even hears a hint of their music. He gets so lost in it and just dances and smiles and zones out EVERYTHING else. He is pretty funny when he does that! He really is a deadhead! He just did not follow them around, but saw them every time he could when they played in town (in the Bay Area) I like the Dead too. But not as much as Ralphie! :D:

I once toured in a singing group with the half-brother of Dead drummer Mickey Hart. Can you imagine being baby-sat, as he was, by Jerry Garcia???
