There's a reason they make coordinators wear the electronic tether ... err ... radio ... at all times. (of course, this is useless if you don't have a radio you can use to call them ... there is always Control, but that usually adds extra time to the process. And since I'm on a frequency that doesn't even get tone outs, I'm not 100% sure that control could get a hold of me.)

Going through control is a inexact science. Yeah they well ask them to 10-45 you but usually the manager or coordinator is listening to someone bitch and doesn't hear them. I guess that's why they have alerts...
I think Management needs to invest in Nextels for all positions in rotation. It's just easier, for example there was a instance where the pre-show in circle didn't restart (not unusual). I got to Maint and they were on their way but I couldn't get a hold of a coordinator. I didn't know whether to call it 101 or not. In the end we didn't which just made me life more difficult cause I had to keep peeking in the theater to see where they were in the film...

Well, I do have a few friends and even a few relatives who live in the Denver and Bolder areas so I can safely keep the "s". :D:

Or we could go another way. How about George Carlin (I'm your hippy dippy weather man, with the hippy dippy weather...man). I have several acquaintences who fit that description (tho I personally avoid such chemicals and biologicals). But I guess that I have friends, High in places. Close enough. :D:

I still say we were separated at birth! I know that bit well. One of my all time favorite bits by Carlin. :D: He was better back in the day. Now he is almost crabby. I HAD friends in those high places. I have grown up now. ;)

I have thousands and thousands of friends (on the bus), but when I have company over, I have to squish them. Chances are, I have some of the largest audiences ever!
