Frontier is based out of Denver, so I don't think they run the ads anywhere else, but they are hilarious. They may have them on the Frontier Airline website. Grizz the Bear, Jack the Jackrabbit, Flip the dolphin and a few other really cute characters that all talk about Frontier. Frontier has the animals on the tail of the Airplane. You get a different animal every plane. And in the commercials the planes are parked ay the airport and the animals on the planes' tails are having conversations with each other. Cool ads.

They played in Portland, too. Yep, those ads are awesome. Think of it as airplane tail/animal water cooler talk. Very funny.

Have you read the new book about crabbing, "Who Knew Catching Crabs Could Be So Fun?"

If fish come in to port on a fishing boat and shrimp come in on a shrimp boat, how do crabs come in?
On the captain's dingy.

My goodness, I can't believe I wrote that. My grammar seems to have gone buggers.

I used to see the Frontier Airlines commercials here in OC, CA The one I thought was cute was when Jack the Jackrabbit tried to pick up a fox, "Hey Foxy, ya wanna go out to dinner with a rabbit?" "No, I want a rabbit for dinner." "Uh, check, please!" Actually, he looked like a snowshoe rabbit--a hare, technically--to me.

The other airline with some awesome commercials is Southwest. I love the one where they shut the door in Herb Kelleher's face because he doesn't make it in the ten-minute-turn-around because he's talking about it to the camera. He bangs on the door of the plane, trying to get them to listen to the fact he's Kelleher, and they back out anyway. I could have died laughing.
Then there's the one with the flight attendant out in the middle of the desert asking if you remember when different things used to happen on planes, and then a 737 buzzes her. And this, of course, is back before they could possibly have computer generated the effects necessary to pull it off without having her in the desert with a 737 flying 20' over her head. I hope it didn't take too many takes!
I used to drive some of the guys who flew the Air Canada DH-8's from Vancouver to Victoria, and they said that on a clear day one of their favorite things was to take off and fly about 500' off the water. That had to be cool. I know how that is in a Cessna 2-pack, but I can't imagine how that is in a Dash-8 at 300 mph.

Well, today was the last day Dinosaur Encounter was opened! I worked in there from 10:30-4:15 (it closes at 4). I got all choked up when I gave my final tour. I admit, I'm going to miss it. But, it turns out, the local news advertised the hell out of this, and it was packed! So we were working like crazy. Though I was by myself the last hour. I was not in a good mood either becaus people wouldn't behave. And I kept making announcments being serious but using a sarcastic tone by sayind, "For the safety of yourself, the people around you, and the dinosaurs, please don't lean, sit, climb over or under the chains! And do NOT touch the dinosaurs. You can fall and break the chains, dinosaurs and yourself! And I DONT feel like filling out accident reports!"...is it sad that I actually said that more than 5 times? And the chains got knocked down 4 times today! UGH! But, what ever, I will miss DE.

You should have put all the carnivores (read BIG teeth) nearest the chains and equip them with motion and laser intrusion detectors that then changes the movement programming. The first time someone leans over the chain and a T-Rex reaches down and snaps at them (maybe removing the body part that is over the line) it would definately tend to reduce the chance of anyone who witness the event from doing the same thing. And you can be assured that there will be no repete offenders.
(Gee, I'm bloody minded tonight.)
